A wonderful welcome to Zane!
Our sweet daughter Sarah Ann Sheranian Hall had their second child, a darling baby boy named Zane Sheranian Hall on January 28 2022.
Sarah had to be induced at 39 weeks because she was showing some signs of possible toxemia. It turns out that Zane’s heart rate would dive down to 50 every time she had a contraction!
Her doctor decided to take the baby by a vertical C-section because he was such a big baby. Since surgery was necessary, Sarah couldn't do stairs or lift heavy things and her recovery would be slow, I really wanted to be there to help with the baby Zane and Sarah.
I arrived in Washington state when Zane was just a little over a week old. It was such a sweet time with Sarah, Mandy, Wyatt and Zane.
Ellensburg is right in the middle of Washington State. They own 7 acres of the most beautiful farmland. It is orchard country and such a beautiful spot on the earth!
The weeks went by too fast! What a sweet time I spent helping out with Sarah’s family. She kept saying “I will never forget these weeks Mother!”
It meant a lot to all of us that I could leave the mission field in Austria and make the trip back to the U.S. for most of the month of February of 2022.
Judd held down the fort in my absence and continued visiting members, inviting branch members to dinner on Sundays and attending our district and zone councils.
We missed each other! It was humorous because it felt so weird to not be together. It was a blessing that I was able to navigate traveling internationally for the first time by myself. It was less nerve racking and I experienced less difficulties on my return trip! However, thankfully, I was protected! For a week now I have been recovering from jet lag!
I am so grateful that I had the privilege to make this very special trip that was a blessing to all of us!
