Lindau Germany

This may appear to be a travel log instead of a missionary blog!

No worries...we are serving the Lord while we are on the road by keeping in touch with the members of our branch by phone and zoom.  We are also extremely involved in our additional work as BYU Pathway Worldwide service missionaries.  We are now preparing for our first gathering, by chatting with our new students over zoom.  We love them already and are really looking forward to our gatherings once a week beginning on September 15th!

On August 15-16 we enjoyed the beautiful city of Lindau Germany with 9 other senior missionary couples.  All of us took a cruise on Lake____________ .   It is the largest lake in Germany and as you travel around the lake you are traveling to the shoreline of Germany, Switzerland and Austria!  We gave out some pass-along cards along the way and always keep a prayer in our hearts that we can spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ wherever we are!

We ate some great meals, and we loved the association with our dear friends. It was an 8 hour from Leoben, Austria to Lindau Germany!  One day to enjoy there and then the long drive home.  Was it worth it?  We were really tired afterwards but so glad we went!

Enjoy the lovely photos…

  1. Hi from the Collins'! I'm sure you're having a wonderful mission and changing the lives of so many people. You both exude so much love. Loved the beautiful pictures of your area and family! How much longer do you have?
We are doing great - enrolled in a boxing class to keep us on our toes!! Our grandson (Andrea's oldest) just got home from his mission in Syracuse NY. So good to see him and feel his spirit. Keep up the good work.
    Love from Lee and Peggy
